Privately held PC Sentry Sdn Bhd ceased to be a substantial shareholder in ACE Market-listed Inix Technologies Holdings Bhd after selling some 11.5 million shares on Oct 8.
PC Sentry is the vehicle of individuals Jimmy Tok Soon Guan, Mok Chin Fan and Cheong Yok Yai. Until last week Tok was the CEO of Inix and Cheong an executive director, while Mok was a non-independent non-executive director.
According to Inix’s latest annual report for FY09 as at end-November 2009, PC Sentry had 25.52 million shares amounting to 22.2% of the company. In June this year, PC Sentry sold off another big block of eight million shares, and disposed of some 2.67 million shares in May, trimming down its stake.
Another private outfit, eNCoral Digital Solutions Sdn Bhd, seems to have acquired shares in Inix, as it emerged as a substantial shareholder in Inix with 22.83 million shares or 19.86%.
eNCoral Digital Solutions Sdn Bhd is the vehicle of Azman Hussin, who was appointed CEO recently. Other appointments to the board of Inix include Mahfuzal Othman, who was appointed executive director of Inix and Mohd Khasrol Arshad, who was appointed non-independent and non-executive director.
17 million shares of Inix crossed at 5.5 sen a piece for RM935,753 in total. This could be the block that eNCoral Digital Solutions acquired.
For its financial year ended July 2010, Inix posted a net profit of RM442,000 from RM3.32 million in revenue.
